Howdy everyone – Hope you’re enjoying this great bout of Spring weather – California gave us April showers last week, highs in the 70s this week, and rumors of rain again next. A rainy day always puts me in a good mood. Go figure. I wanted to post this quick update and share a little info about what’s happening lately with both me and the band. Check out the embedded links below. Lots of fun stuff going on these days:
Indie Artists Alliance – Songwriters and Storytellers Contest
Some of you might remember this from back in October. The results are in, and my song “Entertaining an Angel” placed as one of the top 20 winning entries. I really appreciate all of you who voted and helped make this happen. (Speaking of Indie Artists Alliance, I’m now one of the Featured Artists in rotation on their related site, Imuzic.com. It’s a cool online venue for independent folk to get there music out. Have a look around if you have a chance.)
Canyon Acoustic Society House Concert
I wanted to thank the Canyon Acoustic Society one last time for letting us kick off their new house concert series last weekend. We couldn’t have had more fun. I’ve posted a few pics, along with a live cut of “Pack My Mule” from the show, on my Gallery page.

New-ish tunes
I’ve uploaded some live stuff (“Fallen for Grace”, “Entertaining an Angel”) and one home demo (“Dogspeed”) onto the jukebox on my Music page. If you’re curious what we sound like live these days, or what’s in store for the next CD, have a listen.
Next round of shows
We don’t have anything on the books until June, which kicks off with the big Vintner’s Festival at Roudon-Smith Winery. Besides that, we have the San Francisco Free Folk Festival, another stop at The E3 Playhouse in July, and Roudon-Smith again in October. Check my Shows page for complete info, or sign up for my mailing list to find out when more shows are added to our queue.
Many thanks for the support.
