Okay, do you “play” a song on a podcast? Not sure. “Stream” it? No, that’s not right. “Make it downloadable”? Okay, that’s way too clunky. Once we figure out the nomenclature for this newish media, it’ll change, so I’m not going to try to figure out.
Regardless of all that word juggling, Dalecast, out of County Durham, UK, is the first podcast of 2009 to play one of my songs. Dalecast is 90 minutes of new music that’s “broadcast” (that’s the verb used by it’s creator and host, Steve, so I’ll go with it) five days a week. You can listen to (and/or download) Dalecast from the website, or you can subscribe to it in iTunes.
If you heard me on Steve’s show and made your way over here from the the Dalecast site, welcome. AND…if you send me an email and let me know what song of mine was played on episode #475, I’ll send you a free MP3 of the song.
